MINNEOTA (KMHL) – Authorities have identified the man killed in a construction accident near Minneota earlier this week.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says Luis Gerardo Rojas Juarez, 44, of Minneota was killed while he was operating heavy construction equipment on a project at a construction site around two miles northeast of Minneota.
Authorities say the incident occurred Wednesday afternoon around 2:30. Sheriff’s officials say Juarez was declared dead at the scene of the incident.
