Funeral services have been set for Thomas “Tommy” Schroeder, age 45 of Papillion, Nebraska – Formally from Marshall.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Monday afternoon, August 10th at Holy Redeemer Church in Marshall.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the church.  Tommy was a firegihter and EMT at the Offutt Air Base in Omaha Nebraska.

Thomas Rock Fier was born on October 24th, 1953, in Canby, Minnesota to Donald (Don) and Patricia (Pat) (Schirber) Fier. Tom grew up on his parent’s family farm outside of Taunton, Minnesota and attended school in Minneota, Minnesota where he graduated from in 1971. After graduating high school, he went on to Canby Vo-Tech for Welding.
