Just because a movie makes money at the box office, that doesn't mean it's GOOD.  People are voting on Ranker.com for the WORST movies that made at least $1 billion.   But the polling isn't open to ALL billion-dollar movies.  Just the ones with bad Rotten Tomatoes scores.  Here's the Top 15:   1.  "The Lion King" (live-action).  Gross:  $1.7 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  51%. 2.  "Star Wars: Episode 9 - The Rise of Skywalker".  Gross:  $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  51%. 3.  "Jurassic World: Dominion".  Gross:  $1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  29%. 4.  "Aladdin" (live-action).  Gross:  $1.1 billion.  Rotten Tomatoes Score:  51%. 2025-02-20T09:06:26-06:00February 20th, 2025|Categories: KARL, KARZ, KKCK, KMHL|

Sharon Osbourne robbed the world of possibly witnessing a Captain Ozzy.  She says he was offered an audition for "Pirates of the Caribbean" . . . but she said no.   She says it's the biggest mistake she's ever made with him.  Quote, "Now wouldn't he have been perfect?  Johnny [Depp] wanted Keith [Richards] to be a pirate, remember?"   Of course, we all know Keith played Johnny's dad.  Sharon didn't say if this was the role Ozzy could've played, or if it was a different character.

Life Hack: Add Jump Scares to Websites You Use Too Much

2025-02-13T10:23:18-06:00February 13th, 2025|Categories: KKCK|

Spending too much time online?  Here's a funny hack to try:  Add JUMP SCARES to sites you can't stop visiting.   There's an app called TabBoo that does it through Google Chrome.  You can download the extension at TabBoo.xyz.   When you visit a site that you want to use less, a scary picture pops up and prevents you from accessing it.  You can also have it play sound effects.   You can add it for specific sites, or let it choose based on your browsing habits.  You can also dial in how often it happens, anywhere from a 1% chance [...]

2025-02-07T10:15:47-06:00February 7th, 2025|Categories: KARL, KARZ, KKCK, KMHL|

Sometimes we hype a movie in our head so much that it couldn't possibly live to the expectation... and sometimes the movie in question was so bad to begin with it wouldn't have made a difference. Same could be said about Valentines day, so for this week's PBL we talk about the movies that we looked forward to so much, but they ultimately let us down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEOktL5kIDc

We're 36 days into 2025, and if you're not impressed so far . . . don't worry, these are just the crappy months anyway.   A new poll asked people what their LEAST favorite month is, and the top two responses were:  January (26%) . . . and February (11%).  August (10%) is third, probably because that's when summer ends and school is starting up again.   20% of people said they didn't have a least favorite month.   People were also asked for their FAVORITE month.  The ones with the most votes were October (14%) and December (11%) . .
