The "L.A. Times" did a story on a woman named Annie Harvilicz, who's been taking in pets displaced by the Palisades Fire near Malibu. She runs two vet clinics in the area, and one was empty. So she posted on Facebook offering to take in any pets that had to be evacuated. She says tons of people have reached out for help in the past two days. A guy in Illinois was redoing his parents' bathroom when he ripped out some drywall and found an old Christmas gift in the wall with his name on it. They apparently hid it in 1978 and forgot. Side Note: It turned out to be a set of toy planes called Thunder Jets that Matchbox made.
