MARSHALL — The Lyon County Museum will host a special program on Amelia Earhart’s life tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 2, at 6:30 p.m.
Amelia Earhart’s second cousin, Nancy Earhart Burt, will present a two-part program. In the first half, she portrays Amelia, sharing highlights of the aviator’s childhood, pioneering flights, marriage, and reflections on women’s roles. In the second half, Burt discusses Earhart’s final flight, theories about her disappearance, and her lasting legacy.
