People in Boston don’t have a reputation for bad tempers or aggressiveness, so this is a surprise. Just kidding! They’re all nuts.
Allstate just released the results of their annual study on the best and worst drivers in America, and the WORST drivers are in Boston. In fact, Boston drivers are 189% more likely to be involved in a collision than the national average. (Even if they have SMAHT PAHK???)
The rankings are based on the average number of years people go between accidents, and the overall accident rate in the 200 biggest cities in the country.
The 10 cities with the best drivers are: Brownsville, Texas . . . Fort Collins, Colorado . . . Boise, Idaho . . . Laredo, Texas . . . Cary, North Carolina . . . Madison, Wisconsin . . . McAllen, Texas . . . Colorado Springs, Colorado . . . Eugene, Oregon . . . and Olathe, Kansas.
The five cities with the WORST drivers are: Boston . . . Washington, D.C. . . . Baltimore, Maryland . . . Worcester, Massachusetts . . . and Springfield, Massachusetts.
