MARSHALL, Minn. — The Action Trackchair, manufactured by Marshall-based ATZ Manufacturing, is one of 16 products remaining in the 2026 ‘Coolest Thing Made in Minnesota‘ competition sponsored by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and BMO.
The third round of public voting opened Monday and runs through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20. Voters can cast one vote per week in each matchup.
The Trackchair is designed to allow people with mobility challenges to travel across terrain that can be difficult or impossible to navigate with a traditional wheelchair, including sand, mud and snow. The tracked system also allows the chair to travel through water. The product is hand-built in Marshall.
The competition began with 64 products, with the Trackchair now just two rounds away from the final. Round of 8 voting begins Monday, Sept. 21, with the overall winner to be announced Oct. 6 at the Minnesota Manufacturers’ Summit.
