GRANITE FALLS (KMHL) – Five people were injured in a crash that occurred along state Highway 23 west of Granite Falls on Sunday.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2022 Chevrolet Tahoe and a 2006 Nissan Armada collided at the intersection of State Highways 23 and 274. Authorities say one of the passengers in each of the vehicles was seriously injured in the accident.
Authorities say a seven-year-old boy who was riding in the Tahoe and a 54-year-old passenger in the Armada were taken to the Granite Falls hospital with life threatening injuries. Three others were also injured in the crash.
The patrol says roads were snow covered and icy at the time of the accident.
