Aaron F. Pohlen, 30, of Redwood Falls died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at CentraCare Heart and Vascular Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with burial to follow at St. Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home in Redwood Falls.  Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.

Aaron, the son of Steven J. and Sharon K. (Goblirsch) Pohlen, was born November 13, 1991 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. Aaron grew up in the Redwood area, graduating from Redwood Valley High School in 2010. Aaron worked as a cashier and bagger in the grocery department at Tersteeg’s, along with cleaning the Redwood County Courthouse and Government Center overnights. He enjoyed both of his jobs. Aaron loved cars – sprint cars, dirt track racing, and watching NASCAR. He also enjoyed shooting guns out at the gun range with his friends and family. Aaron was full of life and energy and was kind to everyone he knew.

He is survived by his parents Steve and Sharon Pohlen of Redwood Falls; three brothers, Camron (Kim) Pohlen of Zumbrota, Luke J. Pohlen of Redwood Falls, and Issac J. Pohlen of Redwood Falls; sister, Kayla Ann “LaAnn” Pohlen of Redwood Falls; niece, Jules Pohlen and nephew, Jett Pohlen – with another nephew due in February; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; grandparents, June (James) Goblirsch of Redwood Falls, Donald (Shirley) Pohlen of Wabasso; and special friend, Hunter Dunbar and her children Temprynce and Bentley of Rushford.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Joshua Pohlen in 1994 at birth; and grandpa, Alvin Goblirsch.
