MARSHALL, Minn. — Cattle producers and agricultural supporters from across Minnesota will gather in Marshall today for the 2026 Minnesota Cattlemen’s Summer Tour, hosted by the Southwest Cattlemen and the Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association. 

Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Lyon County Fairgrounds, with buses departing between 7:30 and 8 a.m. to visit a variety of cattle and agricultural operations throughout southwest Minnesota. Meals, including a light breakfast, brisket sandwich lunch and steak supper, will be served at the fairgrounds. 

The annual event highlights family-owned cattle operations, modern livestock production practices and agricultural innovation across the region. General admission includes the tour and meals, while students and children may attend free.
