MARSHALL (KMHL) — Southwest Minnesota State University’s fifth annual M4L Day of Giving has concluded after raising $115,620 to support students and campus programs.
The 24-hour online fundraising campaign drew 592 donations from 467 donors, with gifts benefiting scholarships, academics, athletics, student support services and other university priorities.
This year’s campaign set a goal of $125,000 after raising more than $91,000 in 2025. While the final total fell short of that mark, the event still delivered one of the university’s strongest fundraising efforts to date.
Known as Mustangs 4 Life Day, the annual event brings together alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents and community supporters to invest in the future of SMSU through a variety of campus funds and initiatives.
The 24 hour day of giving is over, however, you can still donate online here.
