MOUNTAIN LAKE – A Windom woman was injured after the vehicle she was riding in struck an abandoned vehicle on Highway 60 in Cottonwood County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 4:50 Sunday afternoon, a 2007 Toyota Prius was abandoned on the side of the road due to the snow and ice conditions. A 2020 Ford Escape was traveling on Highway 60 when it struck the abandoned Prius.  

The driver of the Ford, 27-year-old Breeanna Marie Blue of Windom, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Windom hospital. Her passenger, 25-year-old Martin Graham Terry (address unknown), was not injured.  

The operator of the Prius, 28-year-old Diego Ivan Juardo of Windom, was not injured.
