REDWOOD FALLS (KMHL) – Redwood Electric Cooperative in Clements was one of three electrical cooperatives to receive money from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to invest in improving rural electric infrastructure.

According to a press release from the USDA, the cooperative will use a $7 million loan to improve 57 miles of line and add 72 customers.

The cooperative serves more than 4,400 residential and commercial consumers in three counties in Minnesota.
