MARSHALL (KMHL) – A developer has come forward with a proposal to fill vacant lots in downtown Marshall – but there still is a lot that needs to be worked out on it.
APX Construction Group of Mankato came forward with a preliminary agreement to present to the council to develop the vacant lots on Block 11 downtown.
Council members were presented a preliminary agreement outlining conditions to be met before the city or developer move forward on it.
The agreement includes deadlines for APX to submit information and financing on the project – and the city will have its financial consultant analyze the project’s feasibility and determine if the city will participate through Tax Increment Financing on the project.
