Sara E. Prescott, 79, of Morton died unexpectedly Saturday, January 8, 2022 at St. Cloud Hospital. A celebration of life will be held in the Spring of 2022. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.
Sara Ellen Prescott, the daughter of Otis and Sylvia (Arnt) Spencer, was born February 5, 1942 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She graduated from Redwood Falls High School in 1960. In 1961, Sara married Roger Prescott at St. Cornelia’s Episcopal Church. Together they lived in Rockford, MN until moving back to Morton in 1990. Sara enjoyed selling Avon products and helping work bingo at Jackpot Junction.
She is survived by her sons, Kelly Prescott of Franklin, Dion Prescott of Morton, and Brad (Lisa) Prescott of Texas; 8 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Prescott (2006); and parents, Otis and Sylvia Spencer.
