Sandra Bergstrom, age 71, of Hendricks, MN passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Hendricks Nursing Home. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in the Hendricks Hospital Chapel with Rev. David Christenson officiating. A Private burial will be in the Hendricks Cemetery, Hendricks, MN. Houseman Funeral Home, Birk Chapel, Hendricks, MN is entrusted with the arrangements.
Sandra Lee (Modtland) Bergstrom was born on March 25, 1948 to Invald and Beulah (Digre) Modtland in Ivanhoe, Minnesota. She was married Harold “Harry” Clough in in Long Beach, CA and together they had one son Jason Clough. Later she married Delbert Bergstrom. Her life’s work was as a caregiver and spent the last 15 years as a loving companion and caregiver to Roger Vick.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Kasaundra Clough; four sisters: Elaine B. Browning, Chula Vista, CA, Helen Martin, Midwest City, OK, Diane J. Matz, Hemet, CA and Linda Lou McMillian, Laughlin, NV; one brother, Donald L. Modtland, San Jacinto, CA; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Arnold Modtland, two sisters: Loretta Dwire and Iva-Dell Hutchinson.
