Our beloved dad, papa, brother, and friend Roger left us for the golden gates of Heaven while surrounded by his family and friends at Methodist Hospital on April 29th.  Roger was born on May 28, 1957 in Redwood Falls, MN to Harlan & Carol Schwerin. He graduated from Wood Lake high school in 1975 and went on to study fluid power at Minnesota West in Granite Falls, MN; graduating in 1977. In 1983, he pursued his lifelong career with Oil Air Products; retiring in January 2022 as the CEO of the company.  Roger was a driven professional with an unmatched work ethic. When he could find the time to step away from the office, you’d find him golfing, fishing, water skiing, snowmobiling or hunting. While raising his two children, he found joy in coaching them in their various sporting activities over the years. His lake home in the Brainerd lakes area was his happy place, especially when there surrounded by family and friends.

Roger leaves behind his son Kevin Schwerin (Beth) Wood Lake, MN, daughter Kari Griffin-Harte (Joe) Port Townsend, WA, three grandchildren Kason (10), Brynn (5) and Kennedi (3); his two brothers, Clayton (Paula) Naples, FL, Dave (Diane) Wood Lake, MN; sister, Kaye Wothe (Don) Minnetonka, MN, several nieces and nephews, and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Harlan and Carol and nephew, Garrett Schwerin.
