Any adult or child that visited her home was always welcomed by a well stocked candy dish and treat cabinet. Family and friends were a priority in her life and always put others before her. If needed, she was willing to help others who were not as fortunate as her. When Patty entered a room, her smile lit it up radiating joy to most everyone in the room. She kept a spotless, well organized home. There was always a list somewhere to be found. She played detective many times finding things for her husband. Later in life they got a dog and she referred to the dog hair as “Poppy is spreading her love around the house. Patty enjoyed shopping, be it a special gift for someone or making her home more beautiful. She was a perfectionist and any item purchased, big or small, had to be perfect. Shopping took her to many venues to find that special gift or item to complement the décor of her home. Her home transitioned through the seasons culminating with Christmas when it was transformed into a twinkling, glittery Christmas Wonderland. To make room for the new, meant she had annual garage sales which earned her the title of Queen of Garage Sales. She enjoyed the sales because it gave her the opportunity to renew friendships.
