Nicholaus Edwin Pealer was born on January 24, 1985, to Robert and Barbara (Harvey) Pealer in Redwood Falls, Minnesota. He was raised in the Clarkfield, Minnesota area and attended Yellow Medicine East Schools before graduating from Montevideo Alternative Learning Center with the class of 2005. Nick went on to further his education at Minnesota West Granite Falls Campus before becoming a farm hand for many neighbors. After his father, Robert, tragically passed away in 2004, Nick inherited Robert’s house and land just outside of Vesta. He took pride in caring for the land in honor of his dad. He had so many hopes and dreams for that place.  In 2016, Nick met Katherine Muehler and the couple was blessed with two boys, Seamus Robert in 2018 and Donald Dean in 2019. Those two little boys quickly became the center of Nick’s world, they truly were his pride and joy. He cherished all the time he was able to spend with them. Nick was looking forward to teaching Seamus and Donald the joys of his father’s land and eventually passing the land on to his boys. Nick was a very generous and giving person and was known for his love of music and art, specifically harmonica music, drawing, sketching and painting.

Nick Pealer died unexpectedly on July 16, 2022, at his residence in Vesta, Minnesota, at the age of 37 years, 5 months, and 23 days. Blessed be his memory.
