Michele Harazin, age 58 years young of Redwood Falls, passed away peacefully in her sleep Friday, May 20, 2022 at her home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church in Redwood Falls with a livestream on St. Catherine’s Catholic Church YouTube page. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Interment will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia at a later date. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Michele Harazin was born October 27, 1963 to Thomas Holscher and Marjorie Ostrowski at the hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She was baptized at St. Anthony Catholic Church and was confirmed at St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Michele attended Madison Elementary School in St. Cloud and later graduated from Redwood Falls High School in Redwood Falls in 1981. On April 13, 1996, Michele married the love of her life, Gordon Harazin, in Olivia. The couple recently celebrated 26 happy years of marriage. Michele was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. You could always find her and the grandkids, baking cookies, gardening, sewing, doing crafts, playing games, reading and laughing together.
Michele is survived by her husband Gordy; children: Brooks (Danica), Stephanie, Derek (Sandy) and Courtney; 10 grandchildren: Jaedyn, Holden, Gavin, Grady, Karson, Isla, Oakley, Grayson, Hunter and Gabriella; father, Tom (Elaine); sisters Pam (Kevin) and Janet (Greg); mother-in-law Hazel Harazin; nieces & nephews: Christina (Jason), Alysa (Justin), Brandee (Nathan), Shawna, Ben (Kears) and Brandon; and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Marge Bellig and father-in-law John Harazin.
