Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Noyes, 94, of Marshall will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at Holy Redeemer Church in Marshall. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, with a Rosary at 4 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at Rehkamp Horvath Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will continue from 9-10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.

Mary died on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, at the Prairie Home Hospice Lockwood House.

Mary Louise (Labat) Noyes was born March 19, 1925, to Camiel and Emelie (Dalle) Labat near Green Valley. She was baptized, made her First Communion and was confirmed at St Clotilde Catholic Church in Green Valley.  On October 22, 1946, Mary was united in marriage to Emil Noyes at St Clotilde Church. The couple farmed near Marshall for 41 years, until retiring in August, 1987.  Mary was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She served on the Funeral Committee for many years and was a recipient of the Bishop’s Medal of Honor. She also was a volunteer at the hospital Thrift Store. She enjoyed playing cards, square dancing, rolle bolle and spending time with family and friends. Her family was very important to her.

Mary is survived by her children Darlene (Duane) Loeck of Wichita, KS, Steve (Jenny) Noyes of Sioux Falls, SD, LouAnn Gunderson (Bernie Hillesheim) of Sanborn, Deb (Bill) Blomme of Marshall, daughter-in-law Diane Noyes of Windom; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brother Pete (Irene) Labat of Marshall; brothers-in-law Jules (Marlene) Noyes, Joe (Millie) Noyes, Ray (Colleen) Noyes, all of Marshall.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Emil; son Dick; brother Gus Labat; sister Sophie Meulebroeck; sisters-in-law Bertha Louwagie and Alice Louwagie.
