Margaret Ann Taveirne was born on September 7, 1926 to John and Edna (Miller) Wichern on the family farm in Hope Township, Lincoln County, Minnesota. She attended school until the 8th grade. Upon the completion of her education, Marge helped on the family farm. Her adult years were spent raising her two children, Jim and Barbara. Marge moved from her home in Tyler, Minnesota to the Sunrise Manor in 2017. She continued to live there, truly enjoying her time spent with the residents and staff there. Marge went to her heavenly home on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at the age of 93 years, one month, and 27 days.

Marge was a member of St. Dionysius Catholic Church in Tyler. She was a simple individual that loved her friends and her family above all else. Marge also enjoyed gardening, both flowers and vegetables, and fishing, especially for Bullheads and Walleye.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, James (Isabel) Taveirne of Balaton, Minnesota and Barbara (Bruce) Nielsen of Tyler; Grandchildren, Anthony (Shallyn) Dybdahl of Russell, Minnesota, Kelly (Kimberly) Dybdahl of Madison, South Dakota, Tara (Matt) Stuewe of Marshall, Minnesota, and Alyssa Taveirne of Tracy, Minnesota; seven great-grandchildren, Kason Dybdahl, Ellie Dybdahl, Kamryn Dybdahl, Kenley Dybdahl, and Khloe Dybdahl Trinity Stuewe and Emmett Stuewe; one sister, Helen Murphy of Bloomington, Minnesota; and many other loving friends and family members. Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Dorothy Hansen, Mary Judge, and Irene Fehl; and her brother, John Wichern.
