Linda (Baumgartner) Horn, age 69 of Tracy, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024 at her home. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 at the Tracy Area Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Prairie Hill Cemetery in Fulda. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Linda Louise (Baumgartner) Horn was born August 3, 1955 in Slayton, Minnesota to Leo and Phyllis (Like) Baumgartner. She was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. Linda attended school in Slayton, and later graduated from Fulda High School. She furthered her education at Granite Falls Tech where she received a degree as a legal assistant. On May 26, 1979, Linda was united in marriage to Lane “Doc” Horn at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fulda. Together, they made their home in Tracy. Linda worked several places in Tracy as a clerk and was the bookkeeper for Doc’s chiropractic office. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Tracy. Linda loved watching Doc’s softball games, and cherished the companionship of her cats and dogs.
Linda is survived by her siblings: Bill (Karla) Baumgartner, Jim (Paulette) Baumgartner, and Jerry (Rosile) Baumgartner and Mary (Stephen) Stritzel; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lane “Doc” Horn, and sister Joann Baumgartner.
