Jack Bullerman, age 62, of Marshall, Minnesota, died Wednesday, July 5, at his home. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, at 2:00 PM, with gathering of family and friends beginning at 12:30 PM, at Hartquist Funeral Home in Tyler, Minnesota.
Jack Michael Bullerman was born on July 10, 1960 to Robert and Elin (Petersen Sorensen) Bullerman in Tyler, Minnesota. He was baptized on July 17, 1960 and confirmed on February 26, 1974, both at St. Dionysius Catholic Church in Tyler. He grew up in town and attended school. While in high school, Jack was a four year letterman as a member of the golf team, basketball team, band and choir. In 1979, Jack graduated from Tyler High School. He then furthered his education at Pipestone Vocational and Technical School. After receiving his post-secondary education, Jack became employed at IDS in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He later moved back to Tyler and worked at a variety of jobs, most recently working at Danebod Village as a maintenance man and night observer. Jack was also employed at Advance Opportunities in Marshall, Minnesota, working with individuals with special needs. Jack was an avid sports fan. He especially supported the Twins, Vikings and Minnesota Gophers. He also followed the South Dakota State University Jackrabbits. Jack loved playing cards with his friends at Hill Street Place and had recently resumed playing golf. He was known as the gentle, kind, compassionate man who took the time to listen and engage with the people he communicated with making them feel special. He was a loving and dedicated son.
On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, Jack passed away at his home at the age of 62 years, 11 months and 26 days.
Jack is survived by his uncle, Bill Bullerman of Luverne, Minnesota; aunt, Mary Mueller of Tyler; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
