Pillow Cleaning at the Wooden Nickel

Wooden Nickel

The Marshall American Legion Auxiliary Unit 113 will be having a Pillowing Cleaning on Wednesday, Oct 27th from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Wooden Nickel in Marshall. The proceeds benefit our Veteran’s programs. Used pillows will be cleaned, sanitized, and deodorized. The process takes only a few minutes. New pillows and comforters are also available. Halloween Family Fun Day at the Museum

Halloween Family Fun Day at the Museum is Saturday, October 30 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Lyon County Museum, 301 W Lyon St, Marshall.  Free event.  All kids dressed in costume will receive a treat bag. Activities include: Pumpkin Scavenger Hunt, Make & Take Crafts, Make & Take Coloring Activities, and $1.00 Orange or Root Beer Floats in the museum’s ice cream shop.  For more information: 507-537-6580

Logger Bar Bingo

Weekly Bar Bingo at Walnut Grove American Legion will repeat on a weekly basis starting on November 6th. The Walnut Grove Area Loggers are sponsoring the weekly Saturday Night Bingo. Starting @ 6:30 pm every Saturday, from Nov. 6th, 2021 thru Dec. 18th, 2021 you can come down to the Walnut Grove American Legion for Bar Bingo with friends.

Linda Chatterton & Rachel Brandwein Flute & Harp Duo Performance

The Flute and Harp Duo of Linda Chatterton and Rachel Brandwein will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, November 12th in the Fine Arts Theatre at Southwest Minnesota State University. The performance is free and open to the public.
