MADAN: Live Reading of “Grandpa & Lucy”

Join us for the reading of "Grandpa & Lucy" at 10:00am on 1400-am/101.7-fm KMHL. Wear purple! We invite everyone to join! Edie Weinstein is a ninth grader at Visitation High School in Saint Paul, MN. Edie wrote "Grandpa & Lucy" for a Girl Scout Award Project to help more people, particularly youth, learn about dementia. She wanted to make it more enjoyable for young people to talk to their relatives or other older friends who have dementia. Because dementia can make someone's world shrink, Edie hopes "Grandpa & Lucy" can help some families becomes closer and broaden their world. Please tune [...]

The Lynd Fire & Rescue brings back their Burger Burn! From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on July 26th 2021, there will be burgers, brauts, chips, and drinks for a free-will donation. Inflatable fun for the whole family at the Lynd Fire Hall!
