Fall Festival and Raffle

Church of St. Mary's Cottonwood, MN

The 61st annual Fall Festival and Raffle is now offering Cold Stone Ice Cream Cups for dessert with their Turkey Dinners. Drive Through and Pick-up dinners are available from 11 AM to 1 PM for $10. Menu includes: Turkey, dressing, potatoes, gravy, vegetables, salad, pie and other assorted desserts Cash Raffle drawings will be at 1 pm, with the 1st prize being $500. FREE Youth PPK Competition

Punt, Pass & Kick Local Competition hosted by Andrew Suby State Farm. Who: Boys & Girls ages 6-11 will compete separately against their peers in punting, passing & place kicking. Compete and go between 9am-11am at Freedom Park in Marshall. Winners contacted after all scores are tallied. PRIZES/AWARDS: FREE SMSU Ticket to the 9/18 SMSU football game to all participants! Trophies to 1st place winners and medals to 2nd & 3rd place winners of each bracket will be awarded at the 9/18 SMSU football game (6pm start time)

Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families Meetings

Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families ACA is a worldwide 12 Step / 12 Tradition program of recovery dedicated to people who were raised in dysfunctional families. ACA does not seek to assign blame to parents or caretakers, but we seek to understand the reality of how family dysfunctions infected us as children and still affects our adult behavior today. Springfield and Lamberton Flu Shot Clinics

Allina Health is pleased to announce that flu shot clinics will be offered at various dates at both Springfield Clinic and Lamberton Clinic. These clinics will take place on Friday, October 1 - 8AM to 4PM, Tuesday, October 5 - 8AM to 5PM, Tuesday, October 12 - 1PM to 5PM, and Wednesday, October 20 - 1PM to 5PM at Springfield Clinic, and Wednesday, October 6 - 8AM to 12PM and Wednesday, October 13 - 1PM to 5PM at Lamberton Clinic. Beginning Experience Rebuilding Series

Widowed, Divorced, Separated? Beginning Experience SW Minnesota is offering the Rebuilding Series for ten weeks beginning October 4, 2021 at 7:00 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church on Church and “A” Street in Marshall, MN. The support group is open to people of all denominations. There is a fee of $75 to cover the cost of materials. This series is designed for those who are past the initial pain of losing a partner and are working to put their lives back together. Menu: Ham, Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, Candied Carrots, Stuffing, a bun and beverage. Jewel was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in May 2021. It has been a crazy whirlwind of events that one can never be prepared for. She is currently in chemotherapy with more procedures to come. Her faith is strong. Jewel and her family would like to thank everyone for continued thoughts and prayers. The power of prayer is everything!
