Evelyn Marie (Anseeuw) Lozenski was born on October 16, 1933, in Marshall, MN, to Morris and Ann (Huisenfeld) Anseeuw. She grew up in Minneota and married Ted Lozenski on January 3, 1951. The couple farmed and raised their family near Porter. When her youngest child, Tom, went to school, Evelyn went to work outside the home. She worked nights at Marshall Produce for a few years and worked at REM in Canby for 20 years until her retirement. Evelyn was a hard worker and kept very active. She enjoyed crocheting snowflakes and made wooden nativity sets. Many friends and family benefitted from these hobbies as she gave out items by the hundreds. She had a great sense of humor, a quick wit, a positive outlook and a “tell it like it is” attitude. She enjoyed gardening, canning, dancing and having fun. For the last few years, due to health reasons she has been living in Marshall.
Evelyn died on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Boulder Creek Assisted Living in Marshall, Minnesota. She is survived by her children Cheryl (Loren) Kapsch of Stewertville, Pat (John) Van Overbeke of Marshall, Bob (Vickie) Lozenski of Minneota, Cindy (Dave) Baudoin of Grand Meadow, Susan (Craig) Blixrud of Ogilvie, David (Tammy) Lozenski of Winona, Tom (Pam) Lozenski of Winona; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was welcomed home in heaven by her husband Ted, sister Helen Ciani, brother Larry Anseeuw and granddaughter Jenny Baudion.
The family wishes to express a big thank you to Boulder Creek Assisted Living and Avera At Home Hospice for all the loving care.
