Edward Allen Victor Jr. was born on July 30th, 1965 in Canby, Minnesota to Edward and Angeline (Ratajczak) Victor. He attended Canby Public Schools where he graduated in 1984.  Throughout high school and after graduation Eddie was a proud hired hand for Bucky Milton and Orville Schultz. Along with farming, he also worked side by side with his dad Edward Sr. and brother Steven doing carpentry.  Eddie had a passion for construction; he established Victor Construction and grew the family business from general construction to demolition, digging, and everything in-between. The saying goes, “If you can’t fix it, the Victor boys can.”  On September 14th, 1991 he was united in marriage to Tammy Kanz. Together they built a home and raised their two children Angela and Matt. In addition to construction, Eddie and Tammy established 271 Gas Stop in 2001 in Hendricks MN.  Eddie had a multitude of hobbies. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his son, collecting trinkets and toys, visiting pawn shops and gun shows, and traveling with his friend Kimby. His rainy days were spent tinkering in his shop with turning lays and equipment. Eddie was Mr. Fix It, he knew how to make anything work and if it was broken, he would find a way to fix it.  Above all, Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his Saturday morning chats with “plumber” talking work, and making jokes. He often put the needs of others before his own and was known for his incredible work ethic, generous heart, and willingness to lend a helping hand. No matter how long his days were, Eddie could always be counted on to help someone in need.  In 2011 he began his battle with bladder cancer. He fought courageously for many years, and in August 2025, the cancer returned. Through it all, Eddie continued to show the strength and determination that defined him throughout his life.  Edward Allen Victor Jr. passed away at his home on October 14th, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered for his hardworking spirit, his ability to fix just about anything, his generosity, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy will live on through the family he cherished, the business he built, and the many lives he touched.

He is survived by his children: Angela (Ryan) Coners of Hendricks, MN and Matt (Angel Mullaney) Victor of Hendricks; Grandchildren: Blake, Berkley and Mesa; siblings: Jeff (Sue) Victor of Hendricks, MN; Randy Victor of Hendricks, MN; Janine (Doug) Eischens of Marshall, MN; Andrea (Todd Taylor) Anderson of Brookings, SD; Steven (Jaime) Victor of Canby, MN; and many nieces and nephews.  Waiting to greet Eddie in heaven are his parents Edward and Angeline Victor, and his sister Diana Gravley.
