Richard “Dick” Williams, age 76 of Tracy, MN passed away Monday, April 17, 2023 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 22 at Zion Lutheran Church in Tracy. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be at the Tracy City Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Tracy Area Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Richard “Dick” Williams was born September 13, 1946 to Clarence and Kathryn (Britven) Williams in Mason City, Iowa. He graduated from Mason City High School in 1965. On June 24, 1967, Dick married Trudy Hickok in Mason City. The livestock business brought him from Iowa to Minnesota where he spent 46 years buying livestock. He retired in 2013. Dick’s favorite pastime was spending time with family.
Dick is survived by his wife Trudy of Tracy; daughters: Rachel (Mark) Pettis of Belleville, IL and Susan (John) Lien of Moorhead; granddaughters: Jessica & Ava Pettis; grandsons: Benjamin (Madison) Lien & Jack (Annika) Lien; great granddaughter Greta Lien; great grandson Thomas Lien; happily expected great grandchild Lien in August; and sisters: Georganne Benson of Wayan, ID & Candace Coates of Tucson, AZ. Dick is preceded in death by his parents.
