A memorial service for Brad Bauer, 64 of Balaton, MN will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Balaton, MN on Saturday, June 24, 2023 beginning at 11:00a.m. A public visitation will be held at church beginning at 9:00a.m. Burial will take place at Bethel Cemetery Saturday following the memorial service. A luncheon will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church following the graveside service. The Horvath Funeral Service in Balaton is handling the arrangements.
Bradley Allen Bauer was born on March 21, 1959 in Tracy, MN to David and Marie (Johnson) Bauer. He grew up in Garvin, and attended school in Balaton graduating in the spring of 1977. Brad enjoyed playing football for the Balaton Warriors. He married his high school sweetheart Tammy Beatty on July 28, 1979. Together Brad and Tammy have three children, Justin, Chad and Katie. The couple raised their family in Balaton, MN. After graduation he worked various jobs before landing at Schwan’s Food’s Signas where he worked as a computer tech for more than twenty-five years. Brad was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting with his brothers and camping with his family. He was quick to take his grandchildren for a ride on the four-wheeler. Brad was always up for a game of Foosball. Brad and Tammy enjoyed traveling together. Highlights of their travels include their 30-year anniversary trip to Las Vegas, NV and many trips to Deadwood, SD.
Bradley died unexpectedly at Avera Regional Medical Center on Saturday, June 17, 2023. Brad gave the gift of organ and tissue donation with LifeSource.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Bauer, children and grandchildren Justin (Amy), Brooke, Justice, Trace Bauer, Chad (Leah), Emmett, Clara, Fritz Bauer, Katie (Robert), Riley, Peyton Miller, parents, David and Marie (Johnson) Bauer, siblings Brian (Kelly Thomas) Bauer, Bruce (Jody) Bauer, Brenda Bauer, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
