Beth Kack, age 64, of Russell, Minnesota, died on Monday, October 12, 2020, at her home.  Funeral Services are at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall.  The event will also be live streamed for those not attending.  Following a reception, interment will be in the St. Leo Catholic Cemetery.  A walk-through visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2020, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall.  The evening will conclude with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., on Saturday again at the church.  Occupancy limits and social distancing must be observed throughout all services.  Masks are required at all public indoor gatherings.

 Beth Mary Ueland was born on January 8, 1956, in Granite Falls, Minnesota.  She was the first of twin daughters born to Richard and Marie (Olson) Ueland.  She was baptized at Christ Lutheran Church in Cottonwood and was later confirmed at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall after the family moved.  Beth attended school in Marshall, graduating with the class of 1974.  She then continued her education by going to Beauty School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  On October 26, 1991, Beth was married to Kevin Kack at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Marshall.  They shared over 27 years of marriage and raised a son, Kyle.  They lost a daughter, Kassie, before her birth in 1994.  After a few years in Marshall, the family moved to Russell where she still resided.  Beth spent the last 33 years working for Schwan’s in Marshall.  Beth enjoyed serving as First Lady of Russell while Kevin was the mayor of Russell.  In her spare time, she enjoyed watching TV (especially Family Feud), crocheting, sewing, and tending to her flower garden.  She truly enjoyed her granddaughters, and she will be missed by many.

Beth Kack died on Monday, October 12, 2020, at her home.  She had reached the age of 64 years, 9 months, and 4 days.

Beth is survived by her son, Kyle Kack (and fiancé, Trisha Orth) of Marshall; 2 granddaughters, Kassie and Kinslee and another baby girl on the way; sister, Bonnie (Gary) Laleman of Ghent; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Marie Ueland; husband, Kevin Kack last year; daughter, Kassie; and 2 brothers, Maurice “Dick” Ueland and Ron Ueland.
