A memorial service for Barbara Jo Loppnow will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Rock Dell Lutheran Church in Belview, MN beginning at 1:00p.m. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, October 21st at Rock Dell Lutheran Church, Belview, MN from 10:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. A funeral luncheon will begin upon conclusion of the memorial service.
Barb was born on May 18, 1951in Marshall, MN to Robert Dahlberg and Evelyn Gilbertson of Redwood Falls, MN . The family relocated to Union Grove, WI, graduating in 1969 from Union Grove High School. In November of 1971 she married Larry Loppnow at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Union Grove, WI. Barb resided in Raymond, WI, farmed in Richland Center, WI and eventually moved closer to family in Wabasso MN. She had 2 boys, James Robert Loppnow and Matthew John Loppnow. She worked at Walmart for the past 30 years and was looking forward to retirement one day. She enjoyed spending time with family and the grandkids. Barb loved planting flowers, baking, cooking, crocheting, reading and taking care of others.
Barbara Jo Loppnow – Wabasso, MN peacefully passed away on October 2, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by her Husband of 52 years, Larry Loppnow. Children, James Loppnow (Kim Shemon) of Vesta, MN and Matthew Loppnow (LaNae Rohner) of Pennock, MN. Sisters, Linda (Gary) Rockwell of Belview, MN, Renee(Travis) Raddatz of Redwood Falls, MN, Melissa (Anthony)Marino, Burlington WI and Brother, Scott (Linda) Dahlberg, Elkhorn, WI. Brother-in-laws, Wayne (Sandy) Loppnow and Rick (Lori) Loppnow. Grandkids, Braxton, Caleb & Jonah, Maddy, Libby, Narissa and Kody, Eagen and Elizabeth. Several nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by both parents, Robert Dahlberg and Evelyn Gilbertson. In-laws Geraldine and Floyd(Butch) Loppnow, Nephew Ben McCutchen, Nephew, Dan Buri, Brother-in-Law, Randy Loppnow, Sister-in-Law, Kaye Hinrichs, and many other loved ones.
