Amy J. Wharton, age 48, of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, May 1, 2021 at the Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Home of Redwood Falls. Visitation will be from 9:30 until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral and Cremation Service of Redwood Falls.
Amy Jo Wharton was born to Richard and Ruth (Arnold) Falk in Springfield, Minnesota on October 14, 1972. She attended and graduated Springfield schools. Amy worked for Jackpot Junction in Housekeeping for 4 years and as a Manager for 25 years. Amy loved spending time with her children and her dog (Phoenix). She enjoyed decorating, listening to music, and phone games. She enjoyed being outside with the sun on her face, listening to the birds sing, and the sound of water flowing in the streams.
Amy is survived by her children, Derek Wacek and Dustin Wacek of Marshall, Conner Winn, Reece Winn and Ryan Winn of Redwood Falls and Presley Wharton of Redwood Falls. She is survived by her sister, Lisa Juenemann of Redwood Falls and brother, David Falk of Groton, South Dakota. Also, many family members and close friends. Amy is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ruth Falk, grandparents and nephew, Andrew Juenemann and many special friends.
