When you order food delivery now, you can usually customize the drop-off . . . like “contactless” deliveries during the pandemic.
A restaurant in the U.K. recently got an amusing request in the delivery notes section. It said, “Knock quietly, I’m supposed to be on a diet.”
Whatever the diet was, this was DEFINITELY a cheat meal.
The order was for a nine-inch Texas BBQ-style pizza . . . a double chocolate ice cream waffle, with chocolate sauce . . . and a Dr. Pepper.
The restaurant posted a photo of the receipt . . . and said they made sure the driver honored the request, because they didn’t want to “betray the customer’s trust.” (Like how the customer was betraying their diet.)
