Linda Scheiber, age 71, of Tracy and formerly of Walnut Grove, Minnesota, died on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Prairie Home Fieldcrest in Cottonwood, Minnesota. Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Linda Dianne Drever was born on May 18, 1950 in Tracy, Minnesota. She was the daughter of Leonard and Minnie (Missine) Drever. Linda was baptized and confirmed in her youth at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walnut Grove. She attended Walnut Grove area schools and was a 1968 graduate. Following high school, Linda attended college in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for nursing. After a few years, she moved back to the Walnut Grove area.  Linda was united in marriage to Dennis Scheiber, and two children were born to this union: Lizabeth and Michael. The family lived in California for a number of years before moving back to the Walnut Grove area, where Linda resided for much of her life. Linda worked as a butcher at her family’s business, Drever’s Clover Farm in Walnut Grove until the business sold. The last 10 years of her life, Linda volunteered at Simple Treasures Thrift Shop in Tracy, Minnesota.  In Linda’s younger years, she enjoyed riding her horses on the trail, and playing softball. In her later years, Linda found great joy in socializing with her friends, whether it be a conversation over coffee, or a simple phone call.

Linda died on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Prairie Home Fieldcrest in Cottonwood, Minnesota. She had reached the age of 71 years and 5 days. Blessed be her memory.

Linda is survived by her two children, Lizabeth Scheiber of Vesta, Michael (Jennifer) Scheiber of Lucan; two granddaughters, Hannah Scheiber of Lucan, Jada Scheiber of Lucan; two siblings, Gary (Mary) Drever of Redwood Falls, Terry Drever of San Diego, CA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Minnie Drever; twin brother, Larry; and two twin grandsons, Robert and Anthony Scheiber.
