Judy Ourada was born June 29, 1966 to Frank and Helen (Klein) DeSleer in Marshall, Minnesota. She received the sacraments at St. Clotilde’s Catholic Church in Green Valley.  Judy graduated from Marshall High School in 1984 and later attended Canby VoTech.  On March 10, 1984 she met the love of her life, David Ourada, at a wedding dance held at the VFW in Marshall.  They were united in marriage on November 22, 1986 at St. Clotilde’s Catholic Church.  Together the couple made their home on a farm near Lucan.  Judy began working at Schwan’s in Marshall, but she took ten years off to raise her family.  Judy worked a variety of jobs and served various roles in Lucan; including the First Responders, Historical Society, and Booster Club.  She wrote many articles for the Wabasso Standard, mostly about the kids and life on the farm. She was a longtime member of the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and served on the CCW. Judy was a very giving person and always put everyone before herself.  Most of all, Judy loved her family, caring for them and watching the family grow. To pass the time she enjoyed reading and watching movies.

Judy is survived by her husband David of 34 years; children: Tony (fiancée Kayla), Adam (Erin), Zach (Haley) and Ashley; grandchildren: Blake, April, Chloe and one on the way; parents Frank & Helen DeSleer; siblings: Kathy Devereaux, Patty (Randy) Lessman and Nancy (Barry) Andres; and many in-laws, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by all her grandparents, David’s parents Frank and Marcy Ourada, three brothers-in-law, and two nephews.
