Woman says boyfried taunted her, said she wouldn’t pull trigger – she did

OLIVIA (LEARFIELD)  —  Authorities in Renville County have identified the man shot to death by his girlfriend last month.  The incident happened March 26^th in Hector.

Thirty-five-year-old Elizabeth P. Lynch is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.  Lynch told investigators her boyfriend taunted her as she held a pistol, saying she wouldn’t pull the trigger.

She says she didn’t know if the gun was loaded and it fired when she flinched.  Forty-two-year-old Anthony Tebben died at Hennepin County Medical Center later the same day.

Lynch has told investigators she was a victim of domestic abuse.
