MARSHALL – A woman that was a victim of a domestic stabbing attack in Marshall early Sunday morning has died, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. At approximately 2:40 Sunday morning, officers responded to a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Brusells Court in Marshall. Upon arrival, a Marshall Police officer observed a man actively stabbing a woman. The officer deployed their taser, and then fired their gun to stop the suspect.

Life-saving efforts were performed on the male, however he died at the scene.

The female stabbing victim sustained life-threatening injuries in the incident and was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital, where she later died.

The BCA says more information will be released once the preliminary investigation is complete.
