SAINT PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has announced that winter load increases will end in the Metro, South, and Southeast frost zones at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 28.

Truck operators and businesses can refer to the MnDOT load limits map for details on seasonal load limit zones and restricted routes. Additional information, including start and end dates for load limits, is available at mndot.gov/loadlimits.

Despite the seasonal changes, overweight permits for vehicles exceeding 80,000 pounds in gross weight will still be issued, provided all axle and group weight limits remain legal.
