HADLEY (KMHL) – A tornado that touched down in Hadley Saturday night has been rated an EF-1.

The National Weather Service tells Marshall Radio the storm cut a 4-mile path through the community. Weather officials say the tornado was roughly 75 yards wide and maximum winds reached 105 MPH.

The storm damaged a few garages and machine sheds both inside and outside of town.

The weather service says there was some damage to homes in town as well. Most of the damage was done to trees and branches all around the community.

The weather service says the tornado hit Hadley just before 11 p.m. Saturday. Weather officials say there were no injuries or fatalities as a result of the tornado.
