MARSHALL (KMHL) – The Marshall Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a thief who was caught on video at a Marshall home.
Sergeant Jason Buysse tells Marshall Radio the man stole a pair of boots off of the front porch of a home in the 200 block of East Main Street Friday night.
In the video, a man can be seen crouching on the porch of a Marshall home, and taking the boots.
Buysse says the systems are very helpful to authorities in being able to identify suspects.
“They are also beneficial to the homeowner, just the peace of mind to know that you have that surveillance system if it’s ever needed, you have it,” said Buysse.
Authorities are asking anyone who recognizes the man to call the Marshall Police Department at (507) 537-7000.
