(KMHL) —   The USDA released their crop update, and it says cooperative weather has helped push soybean harvest past 60 percent, more than a week faster than the five-year average.  However, the corn harvest is a little behind the typical pace at 14 percent. Sugar beets are 32 percent harvested, potatoes are at 93 percent, and sunflowers are 11 percent harvested.
