SLAYTON — Two people were injured in a collision between an SUV and a semi that occurred at the intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 30 West on Wednesday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 5:32 Wednesday afternoon, the semi, driven by Donald James Boyles of Lake Benton, was turning left when it collided with the SUV. The SUV’s occupants, Nolan and Cindy Decoste of Worthington, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Murray County Hospital. Boyles was uninjured. No alcohol was involved, and road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
