VESTA — Two people were injured after their vehicles collided on Highway 19 in Redwood County on Saturday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 11:01 Saturday morning, a 2011 Nissan Sentra and a 2010 Toyota Corolla were both traveling westbound on Highway 19 in Vesta Township of Redwood County. The Nissan attempted to turn south onto Eagle Avenue when the vehicles collided. 

The driver of the Nissan, 29-year-old Nichole Marie Wilson of Anoka, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Redwood hospital. 

The driver of the Toyota, 34-year-old Randy Leroy Wilhelm of Huron, SD, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to the Redwood hospital.  

Assistance was provided by the Redwood County Sheriff’s Office, North Memorial Ambulance, and Vesta First Responders.
