MARSHALL — Construction is now underway on the S Minnesota Street/S Hill Street/Charles Avenue Reconstruction Project, led by contractor D&G Excavating, Inc. Work began this week with alley closures, and full street closures in the project area will start Tuesday, May 27, 2025.
During construction, no through-traffic will be allowed, and residents are advised to park on adjacent streets. The City of Marshall will provide construction updates on its official website.
North Bruce Street is closed today from Willow Lane to Birch Street as city crews work to repair a recent watermain break. The closure began at 4 a.m. and is expected to last through the end of the day, weather permitting.
Drivers are advised to use Birch Street and Willow Lane as detour routes around the work zone.
