Stacey Lynn Dow, age 42 of Lower Sioux Community formerly of west wide of St. Paul, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25 at St. Cornelia’s Guild Hall at Lower Sioux Community. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 24 at the Lower Sioux Guild Hall and will continue until the time of service on Wednesday. Interment will be in the St. Cornelia’s Lower Sioux Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Stacey Lynn Dow was born July 5, 1977 to Demis Whipple and Eunice “Kathleen” “Cup” Dow in St. Paul, Minnesota. She attended school on the west side of St. Paul. Stacey loved music and always had it playing. She enjoyed the casino, scrolling through Facebook, going for walks, and visiting family in the cities. She loved cooking, and especially loved tacos. Stacey could always be found smiling, laughing, and joking around. Her favorite word was “ick!” Her kids meant the world to her, and she enjoyed getting them ready for school, and spending time with them.
Stacey is survived by her significant other Robert Hilliard of Shakopee; children: Nathan Golden Jr., Lynnaya Williamson, Christopher Dow, and Robert, Isaiah, Marissa, Jeremiah, Aubrianna, & Adrian Dow-Hilliard all of the Lower Sioux; grandchild: Dakharii Williamson-Lundquist of the Lower Sioux; siblings: Mark Whipple of St. Paul and Shelley Dow of the Lower Sioux; aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Demis Whipple & Kathleen “Cup” Dow, niece Anastasia Dow, brother Samuel Dow, and many other relatives.
