CURRIE — A Slayton man was injured after his motorcycle lost control and crashed on Highway 59 in Murray County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 7:30 Wednesday morning, a 1998 Kawasaki ZG1200 was traveling northbound on Highway 59 in Mason Township when it lost control, left the roadway, and crashed in the southbound ditch.
The driver of the Kawasaki, 63-year-old Daniel Walter Jensen of Slayton, was transported to the Murray County Medical Center in Slayton with non-life-threatening injuries. However, Jensen was then airlifted to Sanford in Sioux Falls.
Assistance was provided by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office, and Slayton Fire and Ambulance.
