Prairieville Township, MN – A Sleepy Eye woman is in critical condition, and another is hospitalized following a collision with a grain truck in Brown County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. At approximately 9:55 Monday morning, a 2000 International Grain Truck was traveling northbound on County Road 8 and a 2016 Ford Escape was traveling eastbound on Highway 14. The vehicles collided in the intersection.  

The driver of the Ford, 32-year-old Molly Marie Stimpert of Sleepy Eye, was transported to North Memorial hospital with life-threatening injuries. Her passenger, 71-year-old Patricia Kay Peterson of Sleepy Eye, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Sleepy Eye hospital.  

The driver of the International, 77-year-old Steven John Meyer of Springfield, was not injured.
