MARSHALL, MN — Drivers in Marshall should expect intermittent road closures on North 4th Street Thursday while city crews remove trees.

The City of Marshall Public Works Department says North 4th Street will be closed in segments from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, for tree removal work.

Closures are planned between West Lyon Street and West Redwood Street, and between Elm Street and North Whitney Street. During each removal and cleanup, through-traffic will not be allowed in the affected block.

Residents and visitors are advised to park on nearby streets during the work period, as access to the area will be restricted.

Questions about the closures can be directed to the Public Works office at 507-537-6773.
