MARSHALL — Central Specialties Inc. began milling operations on several city streets Wednesday, May 21, 2025, as part of an ongoing mill and overlay project. “No Parking” signs were placed in advance along affected routes, and vehicles must remain off these streets during active construction hours.

Milling is expected to be completed by Friday, May 23. Parking will be allowed over Memorial Day weekend (May 24–26).

Paving is scheduled to begin Tuesday, May 27, weather permitting. At that time, “No Parking” restrictions will resume and remain in effect until the asphalt overlay work is complete.

  • Mall Street:

    • (Mill All): Jewett St. to Mall Parking Lot

    • (Edge Mill): Mall Parking Lot to Clinic Driveway

  • Jefferson Avenue (Mill All): Bruce St. to Van Buren St.

  • Jefferson Circle (Mill All & Leveling): Jefferson Ave. to Jefferson Ave.

  • Lawrence Street (Mill All): Maple St. to Southview Dr.

  • Gray Place West (Mill All): South 1st St. to Lawrence St.

Alternate Routes:

  • Continental Street (Edge Mill): Saratoga St. to Thunderbird Rd.

  • Denali Street (Mill All): Saratoga St. to Thunderbird Rd.

  • Impala Court (Mill All): From Windstar St.

  • Cougar Court (Mill All): From Windstar St.
